Gabriele Manzi

Born in Rome, engineer.

In the Seventies, he worked as an informatic sector manager in multinationals, in contact with state-owned companies (Public Administration, National Railways, Social Security, etc.).

From 1981 to 2000 he worked at SIP (now Telecom Italia), as Sales Manager first, then as company’s consultant to the Transport Ministry’s Civil Aviation Informatic System. Later, he was appointed by SIP as consultant to IRI (major SIP’s shareholder) to help develop several projects, among which those regarding new electric energy production systems.

Back in SIP, he coordinated projects related to tourism, navigation, fish farms and bank environment.

In 2000, during the celebrations connected with the Jubilee, he was responsible for SIP’s informatic system’s development and activation.

At present, in his free time, he is busy with his farm.
